The DPGV organic small farmer out-grower network extends to several hundred farmers covering an extent of over 3000 acres across the country. Farmers are encouraged to practice sustainable methods of farming that will preserve the soil and ecological balance and are trained in organic standards required for certification. DPGV then buys these products at prices which ensure a fair return to the farmers, enabling them to gain sustainable livelihoods.

DPGV plantations are located around the island and equipped with modern infrastructure, including greenhouses and drip irrigation facilities, where focus has also been placed on intercropping. Additionally dairy farming and cattle breeding are carried out which enhances the organic nature of the lands.
